Rosemary Ann "Rosie" Kimbel Temple 75, wife of the late Scott J. Temple and oldest daughter of William V. and Rosella Schladand Kimbel, completed her earthly journey to be reunited with her Creator and loved ones, especially Scott and her brother Kenny, on December 26, 2021. She was born on December 10, 1946.
She is survived by her children: Christopher S. (Miki Strabley), John T. (Kate), Patrick K. (Paula), Kevin F. (Leslie) and Mary Kathleen; grandchildren: Megan, Shelby, Avery, Michael, Aaron, Jake, Molly, Alysse, Brady, Cole, Anna, Ryan and Joanna Rose; and her brother and sisters: Bill Kimbel (Kathy), Donna Wright (Mike), Marge Borders (Don) and Jim Kimbel (Cindi).
Rosie enjoyed her years as an Army wife, in Cub and Boy Scouting, and as Director of Stewardship for the former St. Barnabas Parish. She was a wonderful cook and loved hosting Thanksgiving dinner (her favorite holiday). She took great pride in her children and grandchildren.
The Mass of Christian burial will be held at Ascension Parish, 4600 Lynnbrook Drive, at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 31, 2021. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home, 3800 Bardstown Road. Burial Calvary Cemetery.
