Thomas J. Murray, Jr., 77, of Oriskany, passed away on Friday, December 24, 2021 at Waterville Residential Care Center.

He was born on August 11, 1944 in Utica, the son of the late Thomas and Frances (Moore) Murray, Sr. and graduated from St. Francis de Sales School.

Following high school, Tom served his country in the US Army from 1965 to 1967 and earned several medals that he was very proud of. He was employed as a dispatcher with Teals Express Trucking in Marcy until his retirement.

Tom was very proud of his Irish Heritage and collected many Irish memorabilia. He enjoyed working in his garden and cheering for his beloved NY Yankees.

Surviving are his sister, Marilyn Murray, Waterville and several cousins.

Tom's family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff at Waterville Residential Care Center for their wonderful care and compassion.

Graveside services will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Whitesboro at the convenience of the family.
