James Ronnie Belcher, 92, of Charleston passed away December 25, 2021 at HospiceCare at CAMC Memorial Hospital following a short illness.
He was a welder, a member of both the Coal Fork United Methodist Church and the Navy during the Korean Era.
Preceding him in death were his wife, Luetta; parents, John H. and Stella Hudson Belcher; daughters, Dotty Pinson, LeAnn Miller; sisters, Margaret Thompson, Marion Bowen, Mildred Mozella; and grandsons, Travis and Stephen Payton.
Surviving are her daughters, Marsha Payton (Sam) of Cross Lanes, Terri Lucas (John Riddle) of Charleston; brother, Dale Belcher of Charleston; sons-in-law, Billy Pinson and Norman Miller both of Charleston; seven grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Fidler and Frame Funeral Home with Mike Skiles and Pastor Paul Coon officiating. Interment will follow in Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Dunbar. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at the funeral home.
