Jeffery Allen Edwards, 64, of Rawlings, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 26, 2021 at his residence. Born on October 14, 1957 in Jersey Shore, PA he was the son of the late Melvin L. Edwards and Florence M. (Cline) Edwards.
Jeffery was a 1975 graduate of Lock Haven High School and attended Williamsport College for heavy equipment. Over the years he had worked at Hamm Sanitation and Susquehanna Trailways as a coach driver. He had a love for firefighting and John Deere. He was a lifetime member of Woolrich Vol. Fire Dept. No. 1 and had been Captain of the Fire Police for Cammal. He served various volunteer fire departments in Pennsylvania for over 40 years. He attended George's Creek Church of Brethren and Sunnyside Church of the Brethren.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, whom he met online and married on June 9, 2018, Robin Edwards; step-son David Davis and significant other Michelle Davey of Burlington; Robin's step-daughters, Tammy Kile and husband Roger of Rawlings, Elizabeth Arbogast of Cresaptown and Cathy Lindt of Cumberland; a brother, Richard Edwards and wife Jody of Milton, PA; nephew and niece, Dan Edwards and wife Hope of Milton, PA and Christina Fellander and husband Nick of Poulsbo, WA and brothers-in-law, Melvin Martin and wife Kim of Lonaconing and Marvin Martin and wife Kim of Westernport.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday, January 2, 2021 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home, P.A., Lonaconing. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, January 3, 2021 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Randy Shoemaker officiating. Interment will be held at Waxler Cemetery, Danville, MD.
