Sheila was a proud member of the University of Michigan Alumni Association, a member of St. Mark Catholic Church, and the St. Mark Catholic Women's Charity. Sheila was an educator for over 20 years. She taught special education for most of her career, and she spent time as a director of special education. Most of all, Sheila loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her fathers; Gerald Hale and Rene Mayer.
