Naomi Ruth Hart, 81, of Lonoke, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on December 26, 2021. She was born November 2, 1940, in McRae, Arkansas.

She was of the Church of Christ faith and regularly attended Bayou Meto Missionary Baptist Church. Naomi worked for J.O. Bennett & Sons Inc. for over 50 years and considered them to be her second family.

Naomi, Nelma, Neoma, Nomie, Niomi, Mrs. Hart, Mrs. Pruitt, Grandma, and MawMaw. She answered to all these names and with a laugh remembers answering to Black Grandma when she actually had black hair. She was quick with a look that would make you second guess yourself and even quicker with her wit that she gained from her mother and her sister Betty and probably a lot of wits rubbed off from her loving husband, Bob. She loved to travel to the "River" when the opportunity arose but said it was always good to be back at home on the farm. She loved to watch sports, painting, bird watching, as well as her church family, her friends, her classmates, and her grandchildren.

She was a loving and devoted wife to the late James "Bob" Hart for 43 years, she is survived by three children, Price (Heather) Pruitt and Patience Pruitt Holt of Maumelle, and Jarrod (Becky) Hart of Lonoke. Nine grandchildren - Austin and Lindsey Hart, Abbey and Will Holt, David (Julie) Argo, Laurel (Tyler) Brown, Garner Pruitt, Hannah, and Hayden Young. Six Great Grandchildren - Baleigh, Caleigh and Ethan Argo, Amelia Thompson, Alex Young, and newest expected in January 2022, Noah Brown. One brother Dave (Sue) Price of Texas, Brother-in-law Joe (Becky) Hart of McCrory, Arkansas, and Sister-in-laws Gloria Peel of Florida, Mary Price of Hazen, Arkansas, Nancy Hart of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Sandra Hart of Carlisle, Arkansas and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Along with her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents Steven Brundage "Bun" and Ruth Estelle Thornton Price, her sister Betty Sue Colbert and her two brothers Jim and Wayne E Price.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, December 31, 2021, at Boyd Funeral Home in Lonoke, Arkansas with burial to follow at Lonoke Cemetery. A visitation will be held on December 30, 2021, from 6:00-8:00 PM.
