Elaine Roberts, age 84, of Shelbina, Missouri passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021 at the Monroe Manor in Paris, MO.
Elaine was born on July 2, 1937 in Fayette, MO, the daughter of Earl and Fannie Boone McKenzie Thompson. She was united in marriage to Gene Roberts on October 7, 1961 in Higbee, MO. He survives.
She is also survived by one child, Sherri Rosenbaum and husband Mike of Shelbina, MO, several cousins and her fur babies.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Elaine was a member of the Shelbina Christian Church. She enjoyed reading, traveling, spending time with the McWilliams kids, and loved working with the little kids in the church nursery.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Greening Eagan and Hayes Funeral Home in Shelbina, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Shelbina Cemetery. Memorials can be made to Neighbors Helping Neighbors or the American Cancer Society.
