A graduate of Oakmont High School, Anne worked for Scaife Engineering in Oakmont and Davis Machine of Milwaukee before marrying Jack Harrison in 1947. During their long marriage, Anne accompanied her husband continually during his career at Alcoa until his retirement, and while he launched the Western PA chapter of the National Kidney Foundation, all the while raising their two sons. She was a former Vice President of the Twentieth Century Club in Oakland, a member of the Junior League of Pittsburgh, and a former Head of the Altar Guild at the Church of the Ascension in Pittsburgh.
Anne was devoted to her family, who always came first in her heart. She was the mother of two beloved sons [names of the living omitted for their privacy], who survive her along with their loving wives; she is also survived by five grandchildren.
A Christian Memorial Service will be held at the Church of the Ascension on Ellsworth Ave. in Pittsburgh at a date to be announced. In lieu of flowers, the family requests any memorial donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation of Western PA and the Wounded Warriors Project of America. Arrangements by John A. Freyvogel Sons, Inc.
