Alta Mae Privett (née Webb), 71, of Pound, Virginia, retired housekeeper passed away at St. Mary's Hospital in Norton, Virginia on November 9, 1984, due to multiple incidences including right lower lobe aspiration pneumonia and chronic bronchitis. She was born on June 1, 1913, in Letcher County, Kentucky, she was married to Carl Privett for over 54 years who has survived.
She is preceeded death by her parents Benjamin Thomas Webb and Francis Webb (née Vanover), her two brothers Clyde Webb, Palmer Webb and her sister Marie Webb.
In addition, she is survived by her sister Hazel Webb of Lexington, Kentucky, her brothers; Bill Webb of Chesterfield County, Virginia, James Edward Webb of Wise, Virginia, Monroe Ray Webb, of Springfield, Missouri, Harold Lowell Webb of Maysville, Kentucky, Franklin D. Webb, Carl Monroe Webb and Lonnie Webb, all of Lexington, Kentucky, her two daughter Bobbie Jean Andrews of Thomasville, Georgia and Wanda Faye Williams of Wise County, Virginia.
