Beverly M Eoff, banker and sheriff of Ohio County, Virginia (West Virginia) was the son of Dr John Eoff and Helen Starke Quarrier. He married Harriet Laidley Woods Aug 5, 1845 in Wheeling, Ohio County. They had eight children, Robert Woods Eoff, Elizabeth Stout Eoff (d.y.), John Ravenscroft Eoff, Margaret Roberta (Eoff) Caldwell, Charles William Eoff, Virginia Southgate Eoff (d.y.), Josephine McCabe (Eoff) Cox and Beverly M Eoff, Jr.
Harriet (Woods) Eoff d. in 1904. Her obituary from the "Wheeling Register" reads: "Her husband, Beverly M Eoff, was also very prominent in general business circles and was cashier of the Peoples Bank of Wheeling before and during the Civil War. He also was born in Wheeling and was a descendant of the original Eoff who located here in the latter part of the eighteenth century."
Harriet (Woods) Eoff d. in 1904. Her obituary from the "Wheeling Register" reads: "Her husband, Beverly M Eoff, was also very prominent in general business circles and was cashier of the Peoples Bank of Wheeling before and during the Civil War. He also was born in Wheeling and was a descendant of the original Eoff who located here in the latter part of the eighteenth century."
