Mrs. Blair passed away on Saturday, December 25, 2021, at Russell Medical. She was born on August 21, 1947, in Chambers County, Alabama to Walter Clyde Adams and Florence Puckett Adams. She was an active member of Faith Temple. Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She attended cosmetology school and worked in this profession for 20 years then attended Coosa Valley Nursing School where she obtained a degree as a registered nurse and finished as the third in her class and worked in the healthcare profession for 16 years before retiring. Mary was an excellent seamstress and with her talents she made all her grandchildren's christening gowns and many other heirloom outfits for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, along with crocheting blankets. She had a life-long love of cooking, especially desserts.
Left to cherish are her husband of 51 years, John E. Blair; sons, Raymond A. Blair (Julie), Michael K. Blair (Donna); daughter, Toni B. Mann (Chuck); stepsons, John E. Blair Jr., Terry Blair; stepdaughter, Tina Lynch (Jerry); grandchildren, Josh Spivey (Caitlin), Kerri Gordon (Andy), Adam Blair (Burgundy), Blair Adams (Justin), Cheyenne Blair, Micah Blair; seven great-grandchildren; step-grandchildren, Cody Blair (Rachel), Lindsey Browning, Audrey Ray (Jeremy), Brandon Cumbie (Shannon); siblings, Louise Workman (Kevin), Richard Adams (Sandra), Debbie Brand (Jack) and Jeannene Sanders (David).
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Tony Adams.
