Flo was born in Waco, Texas, to the late Franklin Julius Reed and Ethel Eugene Abbe Reed. She was educated in the Highlands and McGregor schools. She married Homan Brazzil on Dec. 9, 1945, in Gatesville. At the time of his death they had been married over 59 years. She worked in the accounting department at Owens-Illinois Glass Plant for over 37 years. For years Flo was active at Trinity United Methodist Church and later at Central United Methodist Church. Flo loved to sew, cook, garden and do genealogy. She and Homan loved to travel and visit with family and friends. They hosted and attended many gatherings, birthdays and holiday celebrations. Her pride and joy was her family including all her nieces, nephews, great and great-great, 46 in all. Our "Aunt Flo" will be dearly missed, but in our grief we are blessed and happy knowing she is at peace and with Homan in Heaven.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Homan Brazzil; brothers, Aruld Franklin Reed, Alton Eugene Reed and Floyd Wayne Reed; and sister, Nelda Jorienne (Reed) Bubert.
She is survived by her sister, Rosemary Treu, of Overland Park, Kan.; numerous nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; and special friends.
