Robert W. Henderson of Wakarusa, KS passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at the Midland Care Hospice House in Topeka, KS. He was born April 22, 1935 in Meriden, KS the son of Daniel W. Henderson and Genevieve A, (Russum) Henderson. He graduated from the Auburn High School , Auburn, KS with the Class of 1953.

On June 20, 1954 he was united in marriage to Dorothy A. Koci in Auburn, KS. They shared over sixty-seven years of marriage.

He served our country in the United States Army from 1957 to 1959.

Robert worked for Whelans Lumber in Topeka, KS as a truck driver for many years. He later worked as a Carpenter for the US Army Corps of Engineers at Pomona, KS retiring in 2001.

He enjoyed spending time with family and hunting elk and deer. He also enjoyed raising cattle.

Mr. Henderson was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jim Henderson. He is survived by his wife, three sons and daughters in laws, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
