Son of Thelma (Reising) and Ivan Myers. He was a graduate of Vermilion High School, class of 1950. For many years, he worked as a painter at the Ford Motor Company in Lorain and farmed his own farm. He ha been a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church since 1965, Nova Lions Club, Director for Nova Farmers Supply, and a Farm Bureau member since 1965. He married Arlene (Harsar) Myers on November 14, 1953. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Evelyn Myers and Patricia Farley. Surviving are his wife of 68 years, Arlene; three children, Kenneth (Deb) Myers, Jr. of New London, Timothy I (Sharon) Myers of Ashland, and Jacqueline Keener of Nova; nine grandchildren, Travis Myers, Colin (Cammy) Myers, Spencer Myers, Tiffany (Brandon) Young, Tyler (Amy) Myers, Tana (Kent) Behrman, James "JR" (Kelsey) Keener, William B Keener, and Nathan Keener; five great grandchildren; and sister, Joan (Donald) Pine of Vermilion.
