James J. Casey, age 83, passed away Dec. 20, 2021. Jim had a long legal career which included work at the Justice Department, the US Attorney's office, the City of Chicago and a private practice. Loving husband of Frances (nee Norris). Dear father of Katie (Tom) Saletta, Tim (Loretta) Casey and Nell (John) Janda. Fond grandfather of Matthew, Patrick, John, and Molly Saletta, Elizabeth and J.P. Casey, Isabel, and Sean Janda. Brother of the late Patricia Connell, Maribeth Clingman and his twin brother John Casey. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins in Ireland whom he enjoyed visiting throughout his life. Family and Friends will meet Tuesday Dec. 28th directly at St. Barnabas Church 10134 S. Longwood Dr. Chicago for visitation from 10:00 A.M until time of Mass 11:30 A.M. followed by a private interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. (FACE MASKS ARE REQUIRED).
