Charles Brewer, Sr., age 92, passed away on December 23, 2021.
Born to the late Charles Brewer and Emma Shehan Brewer, Charles is also preceded in passing by his brothers George Brewer and Bobby Brewer. Here to carry on his memory is his adoring wife of 68 years, JoAnn Brewer; their sons Charles "Chuck" Brewer, Jr. (Jill) and Gregory Brewer (Aurora); his grandchildren Aimee, Jason, Megan, Andrew, and Alexis; and his great-grandchildren Vivienne, Xavier, Hudson, Cruz, Miley, and Lanie.

Charles was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran that served in the Korean War. He worked for the L&N Railroad for 17 years as a machinist, and went on to retire from GE as a Foreman. Charles was born and raised in the Atwood Church of Christ, and now attends the Watterson Trail Church of Christ. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, but above all his passion was maintaining his yard and garden.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Hosparus of Louisville for all the services they provided for Charles.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021 from 1:00pm – 2:00pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, with a funeral service in Charles's honor beginning immediately at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Watterson Trail Church of Christ or Hosparus of Louisville.
