Mary married George M Cate in New Hampshire in 1867. They relocated to the Melrose area, where they raised six children: Freeman, Hosiah, Elmer, Albert, Mrs Albert (Izola) Merrill and Mrs Henry (Nina) Woodword. George passed away in 1882. A few years later, she married Arthur (Hart) Liscomb. He was killed by a falling tree in 1904. Mary again married, to a John P Owens (a resident of Iowa) on April 7,1919.
