Ruth Joan Barber passed away peacefully on December 18, 2021, in Tucson, Arizona. Ruth was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Ruth was born in Washington State, however, moved around in support of Marvin's military career. Ruth was married to Marvin L. Barber, Lt Col, (USAF Retired) for 56 years before his passing in 2006. Ruth loved Marvin, however, her biggest joy in life were her children Steven L. Barber (Glyniss), Katherine A. Barber, Christine C. Carlson (Larry), James W. Barber, Bradley R. Barber (Justine), Gregory S. Barber (Terri), Todd C. Barber and Michael L. Barber. Ruth leaves behind her 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Mom was our biggest supporter and extremely committed to our welfare. She did whatever she could to make our lives full of love.
Mom is preceded in death by her husband Marvin, son Steven, daughter Katherine, and grandson Reed.
