Tam Thi Tran, age 86, of Houston, Texas passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2021. Tam was born November 18, 1935.
Mrs. Tam Thi Tran was born on November 18, 1935 in Da Nang, Vietnam. She departed this life peacefully on December 23, 2021 in her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was preceded in death by Chinh Van Nguyen, her husband of 41 years. She was survived by 1 sister, 7 half siblings, 11 children and their spouses, 23 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. She was a devoted, loving and caring wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. In life, she was known for her generosity, selflessness, resilience, determination, and independence. Her legacy lives on through the generations she helped raise and the fighting spirit she instilled. She had a fulfilling and happy life surrounded by love and respect from friends and families. She had a passion for cooking and made many wonderful dishes, but we will especially miss her " bánh bột lọc" and "chả giò". To be fed by her was to be loved by her. We are all well-fed and well-loved.
