Albert Wayne Treadwell, 45, died at his home in the Briscoe community Tuesday morning, September 29.

Mr. Treadwell was born in Childress County and had lived in Wheeler County 24 years. He was married February 16, 1946 to Mildred Grammer of Mobeetie.

He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Baptist Church and the American Legion.

Survivors are his wife; two daughters, Rebecca Lynn and Carolyn Kay; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Treadwell of Wheeler; four sisters and five brothers: Mrs. Lorene Jenkins; Mrs. LaJana Puryer of Briscoe; Mrs. Laverne Bennett of New Hampshire, and Mrs. Monett Jenkins of Miami; Troy of Groom, Vendall of Pampa, David of Hereford, Bobby of El Paso and James of Hobbs, NM.
