Died, on Wednesday, March 25, 1908, at his home in this city, of heart failure in his seventieth year, Thomas N Beam.
Mr. Beam was a veteran of the civil war and one of the early pioneers of this valley, coming here for 40 years ago, later joining the early settlers in Swan Valley. He moved to Idaho Falls from his Swan Valley ranch in 1905. He leaves a wife and five children: three sons in Swan Valley, a son at Lincoln, and a daughter, Mrs. Frank Haskins of this city.
The funeral was held from the Methodist church Sunday. Mrs. Beam and the children desire to express through the Times their heartfelt appreciation of the kindness and sympathy extended by many friends, and especially their appreciation of the comforting words of the pastors who officiated at the funeral. Dr. W. W. VanDusen and Rev. II. W. Jones.
