William Holliday Cross, 96, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 22, 2021. Mr. Cross was a US Navy Veteran, served on the DE Board of Veterinary Medicine, and past PTA President. He was well known in the area for his farm and was featured many times in the local newspaper and on TV. Most recently he was voted King of the Dawn View Complete Care.

William is survived by his daughter, Bonnie Pike; sons, Barrett Cross (Rita) and William "Bill" Cross (Cheryl); 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and special devoted friend, Gregg Mazlewski. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 68 years, Janet; Sister, Sue and son in law, Wilson Pike.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, December 28, 2021 from 10 to 11 AM at the Strano & Feeley Family Funeral Home, 635 Churchmans Rd., Newark, DE 19702, where a service in celebration of William's life at 11 AM.
