Daughter of Boyce and Anita Dial. She graduated from Columbus High School and shortly after met and married William "Bill" H Howard on November 11th, 1955. He passed away in August 1972. She married William Edward "Ed" Caldwell on Good Friday, April 12th, 1974. He was an engineer for Norfolk Southern Railroad. She was provided the opportunity to rehabilitate two opossums, Little C and Louise. She was a member of Johns Creek Baptist Church in Johns Creek, GA, and was president of the Norfolk Southern Railroad Ladies Club. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, William Howard and William Caldwell (d. Jun 2001); sister, Gloria Teresa Sikes (d. 9 Jun 2006); and great granddaughter, Maya Leigh Franks. Surviving are her four children, Holly, Jeff; two stepdaughters, Patricia Michelle and Annie Ruth; six grandchildren, Brooke Laurel Bollinger, Haley Elon Franks, Harley Dawn Jackson, Andrew Michael Soper, Rachael Anita Howard Crowe, and Kimberly Elizabeth Howard; and two great grandchildren, Lauren Aubrie Franks and Kinsley Mae Franks; and brother, Robert Dial.
