Wyderia Canzadia (Candy) McMurry, Candy as she was known by her family and friends, and Cotton Candy by the grandkids, was born in Strong, Arkansas on January 17, 1942 to Elmer Bell and Mary Hellon Berry. She died on December 23, 2021 at Timberland Health and Rehab.
She was retired from Brookshire' grocery as a deli worker.
Candy was preceded in death by her parents, husband William Kelly, daughter Leslie Denise, and "adopted" son Garland Willis.
She is survived by her sons Richard (Mary Ann) McMurry and Scott (Stefanie) McMurry, grandsons, Sonny and Colten Magee, and special great grandniece Jazmin Wong, and a sister Betty Dowty (Michael) and several nieces, nephews and special friends.
Visitation will be Sunday, December 26, 2021 at Young's Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
A graveside service at McFarland Cemetery in Banks, Arkansas will be conducted by Young's Funeral Home, with Rev. Brian Trostle, and Chaplin Sterling Claypool officiating at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 27, 2021.
The family extends a special Thank You to Timberlane Health and Rehab and Life Touch Hospice.
