Her husband, Joseph Kefurt worked for the Erie Railroad, retiring in 1939. They were preceded in death by their son Sgt. Gus Kefurt, who was killed in action during World War iI in the Battle of the Bulge on December 25, 1944. Joseph Kefurt died on May 4, 1954, after a sudden heart attack. They had lived in Greenville for many years, and were members of St Michael's Roman Catholic Church.
Survivors include six daughters: Mrs. Joseph (Amelia) Sovenett, Youngstown; Mrs. Joseh (Anna) Golubie(Golubic?), Monore, Michigan; Mrs. Joseph (Mary) Kresoich, Ashtabula; Mrs. James (Fannie) Banic, Greenville; Mrs. Joseph (Theresa) Stepanic, Salem, Ohio; and Mrs. Glo (Josephine) DeTullio, at home; one son, Steve Kefurt, Port Henry, New York; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
