Ms. Emma Lee Thomas, age 81, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021.

Emma was born November 26, 1940.

Emma was an active member of Sevier Heights Baptist Church and she volunteered for several years at Children's Hospital. She worked as a receptionist and a credit manager for many years. Emma enjoyed spending time with her family and was very involved in her grandchildren's lives.

Emma is preceded in death by her parents, Lois and Linnis Thomas; brothers, Linnis, Hugh and Ira.

She will be greatly missed by her children, Ramona Lee and Gordon Catlett, Jr.; sister, Betty Thomas; grandchildren, Jeremiah Catlett (Megan), David Lee, Jacob Catlett, Caleb Catlett and Jonah Lee; great grandson, Camden Catlett and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held for Emma on December 29, 2021 at 4pm at Sherwood Chapel and Memorial Gardens, 3176 Airport Highway, with a graveside service to be held at Mount Olive Cemetery, 2400 Berry Road, December 30, 2021 at 1pm.
