Clinton "C.L." Taylor, age 73, of Waynesburg, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, December 23, 2021, at his home. Born Thursday, January 29, 1948, in Somerset, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Walter & Etta Houck Taylor. His loving wife, whom he married Friday, November 29, 1968, is Carolyn Marie Oliger Taylor of Waynesburg. C.L. worked in maintenance and was a member of Double Springs Baptist Church. In his spare time, C.L. enjoyed attending car shows and enjoyed camping.
In addition to his wife, C.L. leaves behind three daughters, Lori Smith (David) of Waynesburg, Lynn Taylor (Carl Horseman) of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, and Christina Isaac (William) of Berea, Kentucky; seven grandchildren, Jessica Fibbe (Quentin), Elizabeth Pendygraft, Celia Sanjuan, Abigail Isaac, McKenzie Fields (Korey), Jessica Burdine (Will), and Tracy Smith; 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Dixie Deines of Alexandria, Indiana; and several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and friends who mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents, C.L. was preceded in death by five brothers, Delbert Taylor, Deward Taylor, Dallas Taylor, Randall Taylor, and Dolphus "Dock" Taylor; and five sisters, Deloris Waldkoetter, Doris Livengood, Georgia Lee Earnst, Daisy Brown, and Eva Marie Taylor.
Burial will follow in Olive Cemetery. Carl Horseman, Tommy Taylor, Tim Taylor, Tyrone Taylor, Shane Padgett, and William Isaac will serve as Active Pallbearers. Jay Owens and Travis Owens will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
