Richard A. "Rick" Morris, 62, of Shippensburg passed away Thursday, December 23, 2021 at the Chambersburg Hospital with his loving family by his side.
He was born Thursday, June 25, 1959 in Bedford, PA. Rick was a son of the late Roy and Edna Morris.
He was a member of the Messiah United Methodist Church, Shippensburg. Rick was working at Letterkenny Army Depot. He was a 1977 graduate of the Everett Area High School. Rick coached both the Shippensburg Midget Football and Youth Basketball Leagues.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Robyn Framilla.
He is survived by his wife Carol L. Shippy Morris, three sons, Jerami P. Morris of Shippensburg, Jason A. Morris of Chambersburg and Josh A. Morris and his fiancé Nicole Barnes of Chambersburg, six grandchildren, Keaton, Makenna, Shealyn, Alona, Brady and Mykah Morris, parents, Lester and Judy Morris of Leland, NC and Lila Burchette of Wilmington, NC, two brothers, Monte Morris of Harrisburg and Brian Morris of Leland, NC, two sisters, Sheila Morris and Michelle Harrell both of Leland, NC.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at 11 a.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Shippensburg. Officiating will be The Rev. Dr. Francis H. Norton. Burial will be in Norland Cemetery. A viewing will be held Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. in the funeral home.
