Pamela "Pam" G. (Slaughter) Espinosa, born on March 6, 1952 in Pontiac, Michigan, to the late Ruth Slaughter and the late William Slaughter, passed away peacefully at the age of 66 on November 9, 2018 at St. Luke's Hospice in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania after a tremendous battle against gastric cancer.
She grew up in Michigan and Florida with her sisters and parents. She spent her early years providing for her children and creating a loving home. She was very generous with her time and money. She would never deny anyone help even if that meant she was left with nothing. She loved all of her grandchildren/children and devoted all of her time at many games and events. She was the backbone to our family and was so strong and independent. She was our role model. She was everything to our family. She was a beautiful soul that will be missed everyday.
She attended McArthur High School, Hollywood FL. She was in the Healthcare industry at Coordinated Health for 22 years and acquired many friends along the way as a Medical Billing Specialist until retiring in 2017. Pamela was a beloved partner. She is survived by her daughters; sisters; and grandchildren. Five nieces and nephews in Indiana and Michigan. She also leaves behind her dog, Simba. Pamela loved watching tv, Philadelphia Eagles fan, cooking, baking, the beach, being the best mimi ever, listening to oldies music especially Elvis, dog enthusiast, being an awesome mom, knitting and sowing, being funny. She was a member of Vertical Church in Bethlehem.
Donations in Pamela's honor to Mureille's Place - A Senior Dog Sanctuary are welcome and appreciated. The memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church, 3235 Linden St. Bethlehem, Pa 18017 Sunday, December 16, 2018 at 4pm . Followed by the celebration of her life in the Cambanes Hall at First Baptist Church. At her request she would like people to wear bright colors and she loved Christmas colors as well.
