Douglas Cheek Hinton, 84, passed away December 19, 2007. He was born April 19, 1923, in Olla, LA, to Annie Mae (Collins) and Dewey Douglas Hinton. He is survived by his daughters, Nina Hammond and husband Tom of Coalport, PA, Jean Webster and husband David of Eufaula, OK, Marta Sullins of OKC, and a wonderful family of 9 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. He retired from the Oklahoma Department of Human Services in 1985 as Personnel Director. His earthly was spent fishing, woodworking, painting, and getting together with his family. His Heavenly retirement will be spent at the throne of God praising his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. See You soon Daddy, Doug, Papaw! A Funeral Service will be held 2PM Sat., Dec. 22, 2007, at Guardian West Funeral Home Chapel with Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
