Cynthia (Cindy) Sue Conway, 69, passed on December 17, 2021. She was born to Robert French and Dixie (Johnson) French in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on October 16, 1952.
She is predeceased by her husband- Wayne (Pat) Conway, Father- Robert French, Mother- Dixie French, and sister- Trudy French.
She married Wayne (Pat) Conway on December 30th, 1976 and moved to Texas in 1980, and settled in Katy, Texas. Together they raised 1 child Derek Conway. She is also survived by Derek's wife Marla and their 3 children Jullian, Lanie, and Piper.
She is also survived by two brothers Tim French and Mike French of Cedar Rapids and two sisters Paula Hayden of Cedar Rapids and Michelle Holmes of Westcliffe, CO. And a sister-In-Law Barbra Irick of Katy.
Cindy graduated from Washington High in Cedar Rapids, IA in 1970. Cindy worked at Technip for 30 years until she retired in 2011 with her husband and moved to Somerville, TX to enjoy their golden ages on the Lake.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, and grandmother (CICI). She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved Christmas and this holiday will not be the same without her.
The visitation will be held at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home in Houston, TX from 5-8pm on December 29th. Funeral Service will be held at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home at 10am on December 30th. Followed by the burial at Magnolia Cemetery in Katy.
