Mary Elizabeth Chapman, you have been in a battle with Alzheimer's disease, and we lost you today, December 22, 2021. It breaks our hearts to say goodbye.
Your life has been a beautiful picture of sacrificial love. Your legacy cannot be matched. You rose to every occasion. A dairy farmers daughter in a small town. You went to North Georgia College, fell in love with a helicopter pilot and became a microbiologist. You built a strong marriage and raised up four children with your intentional ways and fierce love. You taught us by your actions and faith. We caught our work ethic and learned how to love people well as we watched. Your table was never too small and the notice never too short for one more.
Nothing will ever be the same here without you. We each have a million memories to hold close to our hearts and cherish forever. We will miss your smile, your blue eyes, your love, your laughter, and your hands. Those hands that loved so well and worked so tirelessly.
