On Thursday, December 23rd 2021, Warren Edward Loughmiller, loving husband and Father of 2 children, passed away at the age of 93.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Joyce Loughmiller; his 2 children, Keith Loughmiller and Karen Loughmiller Hoevel (Matt); and his grandson, Logan Loughmiller.

Warren was born on October 11th, 1928 to the late William Russell Loughmiller and Audrey Ackman Loughmiller of Daviess County Indiana.

Warren attended and graduated Barr Township High School in 1946.
He received a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Indiana University in 1952, and a Masters Degree in Education from Indiana University in 1953. He was a Rank Leader in the Marching 100 at IU.
He received the degree of Doctor of Education from Heed University in 1970.

Warren served in the United Stated Air Force from 1953 - 1957; during this time he was married to Joyce Faye Cunningham on June 26, 1955.

Warren worked at McDonnell Douglass Aircraft from 1957 - 1958.
He served as a school administrator in Knox, Pike and Daviess Counties, and as a consultant for the Indiana State Department of Education.
He worked at Crane Surface Warfare Center for 23 years.

Warren had many accomplishments, he was a retired farmer, a Master Mason, a member of the Shrine, Hadji Shriner, and was Captain of the Daviess County Shrine Motor Patrol, and was also a member of the Scottish Rite. However, his greatest achievement was his family that he loved dearly.

A service will be held on Monday, December 27, 2021 at 1:00 P.M with visitation from noon until the time of service at Fredrick and Son-Gill Funeral Home, 308 E. Walnut St. Washington, IN 47501. You may leave online condolences at www.gillsince1872.com
