He was a lifelong Halstead-area resident and graduate of Halstead High School.
He was a farmer/stockman, head of maintenance for Idaho Timber in Halstead and electrician for The Bradbury Company in Moundridge.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Halstead.
An avid outdoorsman, Tom loved to hunt and fish. He was also a member of the NRA, Ducks Unlimited, and Kansas Livestock Association.
On March 4, 1972 he married Jeanette M. Rowe at Bethany Baptist Church, Bentley. She survives of the home.
He is also survived by son: Andrew (Alicia) Ross, Halstead; daughter: Amy Ross, Halstead; brothers: Robert (LuAnn) Ross, Augusta; Alan (Wendy) Ross, Council Grove; Tim Ross, Grants Pass, Oregon; grandchildren: Addison and Aiden; and special family member Jalonna Wenger.
