Wanda J. Thomas, 88, DuBois, passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Mt. Laurel Nursing Home.
Born February 15, 1933, in DuBois, she was the daughter of the late Erle and Mayetta (Baker) Haag.
On May 15, 1954, she married Charles E. "Chuck" Thomas in DuBois. He preceded her in death on December 10, 2007.
Wanda graduated from the DuBois Area High School in 1951. She was a homemaker and helped her husband in their mini golf business and at the Caboose. Wanda was a lifelong member of the DuBois Alliance Church where she was active in church activities. She loved spending time with her family and friends.
Wanda is survived by a daughter, Linda (Tommy) Young, Frankfort, KY, a son, Kevin (Susan) Thomas, DuBois, and two grandchildren, Kaycee and Evan Thomas.
Due to circumstances surrounding the pandemic, a memorial service is planned for a future date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Adamson Funeral Chapel and Crematorium. Interment will be in Morningside Cemetery.
