Janice Elizabeth Conrad Lambert, age 69, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Quincy, Florida on April 26, 1952, to Jack and Eileen Watts Conrad. Janice was a long-time resident of Quincy, FL before moving to Sneads, FL and living in Jackson County for the past 15 years. She was a dedicated member of Sneads Assembly of God Church and loved her church family dearly. She served as WM Leader and was a volunteer at the Pregnancy Center of Marianna. Janice retired after many years of service with The State of Florida. Besides spending time with her friends and family, Janice had a passion for shopping especially at thrift shops, for lighthouse replicas, jewelry, and hats. She often enjoyed tending to her plants and flowers outdoors. Janice loved her family dearly especially her grandchildren and her devoted canine companion "Petey". Janice always had a smile on her face no matter what the situation was. She was a kind and gentle person of great faith; she lived life serving others and she will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law of Bainbridge, GA; her son, of Pennsylvania; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Clyde and Rick Conrad; and her husband of 48 years Curtis Lambert.
The family would like to give specials thanks to the staff from Integrity Hospice & Agape Care Group for their exceptional loving care during her final weeks.
Memorial Services will be held on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at 3:00 P.M. Central Time in the Sneads Assembly of God Church with Dr. Juno Douglas officiating and McAlpin Funeral Home directing. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to services.
