Kevin R. Powell, age 61, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 20, 2021 at his home in Pearl. He was born on November 25, 1960, in Yazoo, to Robert Lee & Mable Corinne (Steed) Powell and he was the youngest of two children and three half siblings, two preceded him in death. He attended Humphreys Academy and welding technical college. He married Mary "Marlene" Bullock Powell. He was self-employed/ owner of Airstream Heating & Cooling /Appliance Repair. Kevin lived life to the fullest through exotic travel cruises, hunting & fishing, chatting/spending time with friends & family. He was a member of Crossgates Baptist Church in Brandon. He is survived by his wife, Marlene; a sister, Vickie Guthrie; and a half-brother, Howard Powell and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Family, friends, and others whose lives Kevin touched are invited to the BALDWIN-LEE FUNERAL HOME, 3780 Hwy 80 East, Pearl, from 1 p.m.-3 p.m. on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, to reminisce, grieve, support each other and, of course, just chat.
