Obituary
Robert Arthur "Bob" Benjamin, 71 of Dennison, IL and formerly of West Terre Haute, passed away on Monday, December 20, 2021 in The Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care. He was born in Terre Haute on December 16, 1950 to Arthur Benjamin and Elizabeth Ann Franklin Benjamin.

Bob was an Army Veteran and served in the Viet Nam War, and was a member of First Assembly of God Church in West Terre Haute, and a member of the Bondslaves for Jesus. He was a boilermaker and welder for J.I. Case and enjoyed working on street rods and riding his Harley.

Bob is survived by his wife Cathy Benjamin and their children; Rob Oxford, Gary Oxford (Angie), Dawn Moody (Jim), Crystal Kerns (Eric), and Travis Benjamin (Jessica). He is also survived by his siblings; Oka Benjamin (Lanny Aderman), Terry Bullock (Ken), Allen Benjamin (Sharon), Donna Benjamin, Ferris Benjamin (Kate), and Olin Benjamin, as well as twelve grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as a brother-in-law, Jim Ahrens.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Monday, December 27, 2021 at 1:00 PM, with Rocky Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Dunlap Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Monday from 11:00 AM until time of service in the funeral home.
