David Milton Blair age 81 passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, June 11, 2020 with his family at his side. He was born Jan. 17, 1939 in Grand Rapids to Milton Roscoe Blair and Wilma (Schipper) Blair. He graduated from Creston High School in 1957, and received a bachelor's degree from Western Michigan University in Industrial Supervision. He later found he enjoyed more simple things in life and became a meat cutter for Meijer on Alpine Ave. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Annette; his son, James and Billie Blair; daughter, Barbara Orr; grandchildren, Crystal and Jake Eerdmans, Joe and Kiara Blair, Jim and Kristen Orr, Brian and Lauren Orr, Jessica Orr; great grandchildren; Maile Orr, Owen Eerdmans, Andrew "AJ" Overton; brother, Dick and Marie Blair; several cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 15, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at the Sparta Church of the Nazarene. Interment in Blythefield Memory Gardens. Friends may meet the family at the Funeral Home on Sunday afternoon from 2 until 4 P.M. and then at the Church on Monday from 10 A.M. until time of service at 11 A.M.
