Services are scheduled for January 31 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Artesia for Pedro M. Aguilar, 40, who died January 27, 2005 at Artesia General Hospital. Burial will be at Lake Arthur Cemetery in Lake Arthur, New Mexico. Aguilar was born February 24, 1964 in Artesia, the son of Pedro M. Aguilar Sr. and Rosa (Marquez) Aguilar. He married Juanita Montoya on August 10, 1984 in Artesia. He was preceded in death by his father on September 20, 2000. Survivors include his wife, son Pedro M. Aguilar III, and daughter Ashley Nichole Aguilar all of the family home; his mother Rosa of Artesia, brothers Ruben Aguilar and Ramon Aguilar, both of Artesia; sisters Olga Aguilar of Santa Barbara, California, Connie Esquibel of Artesia, and Lori Ordonez of Dexter, New Mexico; and numerous nieces and nephews.
