Suzanne Hunter was born in Spokane, Washington on November 13, 1952 and passed away at her home in Newaygo on December 18, 2021. Suzanne is survived by her beloved husband of 40 years, Tom Hunter; her children, James (Kara) Lake and Jason (Sarah) Lake and her grandchildren, Abigail, Peter, Andrew and Alex. Suzanne is also survived by her siblings, Dwyla Horspool and David Robison. Suzanne is preceded in death by her parents, William and Irmgard Robison and her sister, Charlotte Bennett.

People that knew Suzanne, knew that she loved Christmas. She enjoyed animals of all kinds, especially her dog, Sadie. Suzanne was truly a caretaker throughout her life. She cared for others as a nurse's aide in home health care, she worked in and out of nursing homes and she cared for her family, as well. Suzanne enjoyed hunting and fishing with her husband Tom, all while admiring nature around her. Family was so important to Suzanne- she was the best wife, mother and grandmother. She loved road trips up north, spending time chatting on the phone to friends and family, having fun at the casino, reading historical fiction books and watching movies. At 50 years old, Suzanne became a "Harley wife" and enjoyed every ride with Tom.

She will be dearly missed.

A Memorial Visitation will take place on Monday, January 3rd from 1:00 pm until the Memorial Service at 2:30 pm at Fields-McKinley in Newaygo.
