Mary Wanda Beuterbaugh, age 98, Council Bluffs, passed away Wednesday October 6, 2021 at her residence with her family by her side.
Mary was born, July 16, 1923 in Jamaica, New York to the late Stephen and Meri Zawolik. She was united in marriage to Maj. Charles R. Beuterbaugh, Sr. in 1954. Mary worked many years at Northwestern Bell Telephone as an operator.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Charles R., Sr; sister, Jane Bower; brothers, Chet and Phil Zawolik.
Mary is survived by daughter Cheryl Beuterbaugh, with whom she made her home; son, Chuck Beuterbaugh Jr; stepson, Clifford (Barbara) Beuterbaugh; daughter-in-law, Monica "Twiggy" Beuterbaugh; 3 grandchildren, Samantha (Sebastian) Simmons, Kelli (Cristhian) Mejia, Charles "Jesse" Beuterbaugh; 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Charlie (Antoinette) Zawolik, and other family.
Visitation Tuesday October 19, 2021 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Funeral service Wednesday October 20, 2021 at 11:00am all at funeral home. Interment Lewis Township Cemetery followed by a luncheon at the Walnut Hill Reception Center.
