Son of Joseph Przywara & Julia Dworak. John's nickname was Dempsey after the boxer. He died from injuries sustained in the Battle of the Bulge in World War II. General George Patton was buried next to John originally in a cemetery in Hamm, Luxembourg. John was later moved in 1948 back to St. Hedwig. Patton was also relocated to a more revered grave in Europe that overlooks much of the officers and men of the 3rd Army that were killed in WWII.
