Anita June Dunn, aged 82 of Louisville, KY passed away Thursday, December 16, 2021, at Scott Memorial Hospital. Born on November 7, 1939.

June earned her associate degree from Spencerian College, was formerly employed at Merrick Printing, and worked as a dietary supervisor at Hanover Nursing Center. She enjoyed baking, quilting, collecting fabrics, playing scrabble, antiquing, gardening, and note writing, and was an active member of the Scott County Extension Homemakers. She belonged to Hiawatha Missionary Baptist Church, and her daily ritual was reading her bible each morning with a cup of coffee. She resided in Madison, IN.

June was preceded in death by her parents, Katherine and Clayton Riggs; brother, Glenn Riggs; and grandson Jarrod Michael Le'al.

June leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Richard William Dunn, Jr. (Vicki) and Pamela Le'al; grandchildren, Ricki Marion (Mark), Tosha Neace (Chase), and Whitney, Staci, and Caitlin Dunn; great-grandchildren, Madison, Isaiah, and Colton Dunn, Wyatt, Daisy, and Legend Neace, Corbin, Anabeth, and Zinnia Marion, and a tenth great grandchild on the way; sister, Carolyn Beanblossom; brother, Arnold Clayton Riggs, Jr.; nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews; and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be December 28 from 10:30am-12:30pm. A celebration of June's life will be on December 28 at 12:30pm at the funeral home, with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park
