John David Burdick Jr., 69, passed away on December 5, 2021, peacefully at home, in Sears.

John was truly a jack of all trades, and could fix, make, build, or create anything and everything. He was a musician, hunter, fisherman and a great cook. He loved to learn new things and experiment. Johnny's personality was larger than life. He was outgoing, boisterous, and loved to tease and joke around with his loved ones. He was tough yet sensitive, strong and caring. He needed to be busy and useful at all times, and was always quick to lend a helping hand.

John was a loyal partner and a wonderful husband. He was also the most loving father to his three girls. Johnny is survived by: his wife of 46 years, Janet; three daughters, Nellie (Bryan) Evan, Annie (Michael) Yeoman, and Emily (Lane Wagner) Burdick; ten adoring grandchildren; his brother, Howard (Lois) Burdick and numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends; his cat, Spooky; and trusted canine companion (and favorite child) Dante.

Johnny was preceded in death by: his beloved, Grandfather and idol, Elwood Burdick and both parents, Dave and Lenore Burdick.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 10th, from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm and two hours prior to the funeral on Saturday from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm. His service will take place at 1:00 pm at Corey Funeral Home in Evart, where you will be encouraged to share a story. He will be laid to rest in Sylvan Township Cemetery, Osceola Co., MI. Afterward, please join us for a toast and luncheon in celebration of Johnny's life at The Evart Moose Lodge from 3:00 - 5:00, where he was a member. Memorial donations in his name can be made to Spectrum Health Hospice.
