Richard Bowling, Galena, MO, son of Ernest and Gladys (White) Bowling was born on May 23, 1965 in Aurora, MO and departed this life on December 19, 2021, at the age of 56.

Richard was a lifelong resident of the area and was a member of Landmarks Apostolic Church, Galena, MO. He worked for fifteen years at Silver Dollar City and the last ten years at the Stone County Assessor's Office, Galena, MO.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bob Bowling and Dewey Bowling and three sisters, Maxine Hale, Illene Edwards, Sondra Bowling and Ernestine Hammons.

Survivors include: his wife, Robyn Bowling of Galena, MO, three sons, Brandon Bowling and his wife, Celine of Hurley, MO, Bryan Bowling and his wife, Lashawna of Highlandville, MO and Brent Bowling of Elsey, MO; two daughters, Marissah Bowling of Springfield, MO and Moriah Bowling of Galena, MO; two grandchildren, Jeremiah Bowling and Colton Bowling; five sisters, Patsy Asher, Doris Thompson, Joan Crane, Linda Medley and Sheryl Sawyer and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 27, 2021 in Stumpff Funeral Chapel, Crane, MO. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Mickey Lewis officiating. Burial will be in Galena Cemetery, Galena, MO. Services are under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home, Crane, MO.
