Helen was the beloved wife of the late Edward Eugene Wilson. Helen and Edward celebrated 48 years of marriage this year. They met while working at the Frankford Arsenal. As a young couple they enjoyed bowling in leagues and golfing. They had such a strong bond of love that they could not stay apart for very long.
Helen was the kindest person that you could ever meet. She was always thinking of others and lending a helping hand whenever possible. Helen extended that kindness to strangers regularly. She enjoyed gardening and bird watching. Helen was an avid reader and a great listener. She enjoyed puzzles and had a very sharp wit.
Helen will be greatly missed by her children and their spouses, Gregory Wilson (Melissa), Beverly Pelletier (Normand), Christine Wilson, Cynthia Wilson (Christopher Kulp), Sharon Decker (Scott), Patricia Wilson (Oliver Withstandley), Rebecca Wilson, and Robert Wilson; her grandchildren, Noelle, Harmony, Raymond, Shane, Peter, and Duncan; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings Theresa Jarmusik, Leon Lapkiewicz, and Edward Lapkiewicz.
