Jane Elizabeth Berry Martin, age 99, wife of the late Calvin Joseph Martin, passed away Monday, December 20, 2021, at Cedar Ridge Health Campus, in Cynthiana, Kentucky. Born June 2, 1922, in Harrison County, Kentucky, to the late Clarence F. and Carrie Batte Berry, she was a University of Kentucky graduate, with a degree in elementary education, and member of Cynthiana Christian Church. A longtime teacher in the Harrison County school system, Jane taught at Renaker, Buena Vista, Connersville, Marshall and Westside Elementary Schools and was a member of the Harrison County Retired Teachers Association.
Surviving are: a daughter, Susan (Richard) Dycus; two grandchildren, Ben (Carrie) Dycus and Maggie Dycus; and two great-grandchildren, Will Dycus and Caroline Dycus.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 23, at Battle Grove Cemetery by Dr. Larry Bishop.
