Our beloved Cory Larry Hunter, Husband, Father, Grandson, Son, Brother, Brother-in-law, Son-in-law, Uncle, Cousin and Special Friend passed through the Veil to his Father in Heaven on Wednesday, December 19, 2007.
Cory was born May 13, 1969, in Provo, Utah, to Larry B. and Vada (Smith) Hunter. He was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many positions in the Church influencing the lives for good of all he came in contact with. Cory served a faithful LDS mission to Porto Alegre Brazil where his love and influence touched the lives of many. Upon return, Cory married his sweetheart Becky Ann Gines in the Salt Lake Temple on March 15, 1991.
Cory is survived by his wife, Becky Ann (Gines) Hunter of Riverton, Utah; Children Devin J. Hunter (13), Jessica Ann Hunter (11), Brock Hunter (8), and Karli Marie Hunter (7). Grandfather Shirley J. Hunter, Provo; grandmother Irene Smith, American Fork; Parents Larry and Vada Hunter, American Fork; Siblings Alicia, Salt Lake City; Kevin (Kami), Gallatin, Tenn; Mistee (Kurt) Murphy, American Fork; Brandon, Salt Lake City; Dustin (Shalice) Queen Creek, Arizona; and Jaime Hunter, Mesa, Arizona. He will be truly missed by his many nieces and nephews. Cory was preceded in death by his grandmother Ila Barney Hunter and grandfather Grant B. Smith.
Funeral Services will be held Sat. at 11 a.m.. at the Riverton North Stake Center 12345 So. 2700 W. Riverton. A Visitation will be held Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Broomhead Funeral Home 12600 S. 2200 W. and Saturday One Hour Prior at the Church.
Interment: Riverton City Cemetery.
