Elizabeth Charlene Ward of Oklahoma City was born on July 3rd, 1944, to Charles Lee Ward and Geneva Elizabeth Ward, née Cawthon. On Sunday, December 19th, 2021, Elizabeth passed away at the age of 77 years old.
Charlene lived an active life, full of family and personal accomplishment. She received her Bachelor's degree in Library Science from the University of Central Oklahoma and later went on to work for the Oklahoma City School District as a school librarian until she retired.
As a part of Kwanis International and a beloved member of one of the local book clubs, Charlene maintained a rich social life, full of friends. She loved books and reading, quilting, and surrounding herself with flowers.
Charlene was preceded in death by her mother and father.
